FireFox gets error code when I start it.
Almost every time I open FireFox, I get an error and have to click the "learn more" link. Once on that FireFox page, I can go other places. This has been happening all day long. Why?

Well, the "my start" home page has been working for a week now with only an error or 2. An hour or so ago I get a FireFox update and now every time I try to go anywhere I get the end of file error!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, it's a FireFox issue, right? I can't even get to my homepage.
Is the "End of File" error a page that says Firefox couldn't make a secure connection?
Could you do a regular shutdown and restart of Windows 10 in case the update didn't take fully or some important file is locked?
I have done 2 shutdowns and restarts since the update. The error is the one pictured in my first post. They should have left it alone. I'm about ready to bail on FF after many years. I should not have to spend most my free time trying to get a browser to work right.
Oh, is Bing back to being your home page, so we are starting from the beginning?
Have you tried clearing Firefox's web cache: How to clear the Firefox cache
No. I'm still using "my start" home page. That pic is from the first post, the new one is the same except it says "my start" instead of bing.
