Hello, I have set up Thunderbird and inserted a PGP key. Now I want to include for the same email account a s / Mime key for me, which has already been created. The provider where I had created it was actalis.it with kind regards, Christian

Hello christ1, I apologize that the translator did not translate my request correctly. My question is: how can I use PGP and S / Mime with the same email address and with only one Thunderbird installed on the computer? Greetings, Christian

While you should be able to add both keys for signing mail. You will need to specify the encryption technology used to encrypt individual email before you send it use the option menu in the compose window. At least that is how it looks to me.

hi Matt, i already assumed that i need to add an encryption technology to each of the email addresses. however, i don't know how to do that exactly. also, i will have to look up how to add a provider-created key to thunderbird. let's see if the help articles in german can bring the solution. if i failed, i will just get back to you. after all, trying to add 2 encryption methods to thunderbird is apparently quite rare. Greetings, Christian
