<p>If errors are reported with "Verify Integrity", close and restart Firefox or reboot and retry.
</p><p>If "Verify Integrity" cannot repair places.sqlite, rename/remove all <b>places.sqlite</b> and <b>favicons.sqlite</b> files in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.
Firefox will rebuild places.sqlite and restore the bookmarks from a recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.

<p>Did you try doing a regular exit/restart of Firefox to see whether a new Places database was created? If needed, you can delete it manually. <p>Sorry, I was referring to the Library window -- either "Show All Bookmarks" or Ctrl+Shift+B. That one has two separate panes: folder list on the left, folder contents on the right.

<p>I've tried highlighting the right side, so as to "Copy" them, &amp; that's not working, &amp; "Cut/Copy/Paste" in the drop down menu that appears when I right click a topic/folder in the right column of "Other Bookmarks" will only work for single topics, &amp; not All of "Other Bookmarks".

</p><p>Click the embedded/inner Other Bookmarks folder in the left column to display its contents on the right side.
</p><p>Then select the contents on the right side (for example, right-click &gt; Select All or Ctrl+A) and drag them to the main/outer Other Bookmarks folder in the left column to move them there.

I now have a "Bookmarks Toolbar" &amp; "Other Bookmarks" button in the "Toolbar", which when I click, "Tool Bar", it immediately reveals all of the web links as before, &amp; when I click the "Other Bookmarks" button, it reveals another "Other Bookmarks" button, which upon clicking reveals All of the "Other Bookmarks", even the most recent ones.
</p><p>This is Acceptable, &amp; will work for me, but being "Analytical",...... Does this "New setup" present any problems, as far as the operation of the "Bookmarks"?

<p>Using the Library window, you should be able to drag/drop or cut/paste from one bucket to another. The folder names in the left column should work as drop targets, but in order to paste, you click to click the folder in the left column to display its contents on the right and then paste on the right (right-click &gt; Paste).

Bookmarks Tool Bar", "Other Bookmarks",&amp; what I call the "Main Bookmarks" with those "Triple Listings" showing up as "Empty" when clicked on.
</p><p>I then picked a "Restore" that had very few items, &amp; then opened the "HTML File" , imported it, &amp; now I have All of the "Bookmarks",... BUT,............... However, it's easy enough to restore a backup if the first try is a mess, so... try whatever makes the most sense to you.
