Suggestion to speed up my Firefox browser emptied/deleted my Norton Password Vault

Firefox sent a suggestion to fix my slow browser. I did it and it deleted/emptied my Norton Password Vault. How can I restore all those lost usernames and passwords? I see a new file on my desktop, "Old Firefox Files". Is something there I can restore?
