Cannot open downloaded PDF file

Hello,

This problem exists for quite some time now. Sometimes when I download a PDF file, i cannot open it in Adobe acrobat via Firefox download "open". When i tap on "open" Firefox says there is no PDF viewer installed or it cant open the file. Although the viewer is installed and sometimes it works as it should. But some PDF files cant be opened. When I access them through my file manager i can open them without any problem.

Firefox Daylight on an up to date Samsung S10e. But same problem on Xiaomi Mi9 SE or Galaxy Tab S6 lite.

It seems to be a known issue with Adobe on Android. A security tag '/encrypt' native to certain PDFs. It affects all browsers. Community.adobe.com may be able to help. https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/cannot-open-pdf-in-adobe-reader-on-android-when-opened-from-another-application/td-p/10837024

Hi

Firefox for Android is not a .pdf viewer, you will need a dedicated .pdf viewer app for this. Do you have a link to a .pdf file that is not opening correctly that you can share?

I think this might be the problem. This PDF does not work while this one makes no problems.
