Strong password generator

I was trying to change the Norton LifeLock password on LifewLock.com. I used the strong password generator in Firefox and noted that the password looked familiar. Before proceeding, I copied the strong password into my Excel workbook where I keep my passwords, as I have done many times before. This time the pasted text was NOT the text I had copied out of the password field in LifewLock.com! I tried to generate another password and got the same password (to the character) and the pasted result was the same wrong sequence. I logged out of LifewLock.com and Firefox and tried again, and got exactly the same result to the character.

What is going on with this and what should I do?
