
Check for messages on Start up
On start up Tbird should check for new messages but, although the necessary checkbox is ticked for all accounts, it doesn't check automatically. A manual check is required.
All is up to date.
Why, & how can this be resolved?

I made a simple but obviously important setting change.
Initially I had Time/Date set to Regional.
By changing it to Application mail is now checked on start up :)

I'm afraid that doesn't mean much to me.
I have a number of email accounts but the first one is set as default & underlined.
Perhaps a simpler explanation, please?
