Some websites do not recognize my device and require two step authentication, everytime saying now my device is registered and I won't need to do that again. What do I need to change so that their marker remains without losing all my privacy?
Netflix, Charles Schwab, others appear to not recognize my device and require two step authentication, every time, but saying now my device is registered and I won't need to do that again. But I do. What do I need to change so that their marker remains without losing all my privacy? Is it a cookie? Do I have to change the Dashboard to no security? Can I do that for just one website at a time?

The token is stored in a cookie. So... yes, you'll need to save at least some cookies.
What is your current approach to history/cookies? Do you clear some of your history/cookies at shutdown? Or do you run Firefox with no history? Etc.
Make sure you install Firefox properly and that you do not run Firefox from within the DMG (Disk Images) file.
Open the Firefox Disk Images file and drag the Firefox application to the Applications folder on your hard drive. You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the Disk Images, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.
