If you look at the original post that I created, you will see that I included the contents of "Display" events 4101 and 4109 that are logged when Firefox is causing the graphics driver to crash. Each crash generates event 4101. Event 4109 is generated when Windows decides to block "Firefox.exe" from accessing the graphics hardware.

I had been using Firefox for years and never had this problem. The problem began when Firefox version 84.0 was installed, so the cause is one of the changes introduced with that version. If it impacts many people, they may fix it.

Coincidentally, an updated version (84.0.2) of Firefox was released today (Jan 6th), and I have installed it.

Unfortunately, the new version does not resolve the problem I reported.

As mentioned previously, I can just use Chrome to avoid this Fireox problem. Maybe a future Firefox version will fix the issue.

Also, Chrome does not have the problems with excessive CPU usage that sometimes plague Firefox.
