Using Firefox and Yahoo news
Using Windows and Yahoo news on Firefox; when I open an article I get the text only none of the embedded photos that are obviously there but blanked out. How do I resolve this?
Thank you,

Can you provide the steps to replicate the issue and a screenshot?
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for messages about blocked content.

You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.
You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.
If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
This is the best I could do with a print screen. It is a word doc and will not attach to this reply.
OK now I have a print screen in pdf format. CANNOT attach the pdf either.
You get gray rectangles? We had a couple reports last month. Possibly the Ghostery extension was blocking something necessary to show those.
You can't attach a text document, you can only attach a PNG or JPG image. You would have to upload other document to a file hosting service, but not everybody might be able to handle a Word document (PDF can be viewed in Firefox).

- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
OK I saved the print screed as a PNG file - it is attached here.
In the future please screenshots and links to the site.
I also see that issue, but I resolved it by turning off Ghostery.
