TB78 and Google contacts: no available solution now???

Hello, I'm asking your help because i don't see any solution to sync google contacts in TB 78. With previous versions it was very easy thanks to gcontactsync but now there is no working addon for this. What we can do? seem to me a big flaw of this new update. Can i go back to TB 68 or i'm stuck in TB78? This thing need a fix!!! thank you

Alternative: CardBook can sync TB with Google Contacts. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/thunderbird/addon/cardbook/

Carbook works for me althought it is not easy and integrated as gcontactsync, I would have prefered an integration within the adress book instead of a new element. TBsync doesn't work at all, even with the solution provided by the developers.

So I'm gonna use Carbook until gcontactsync is back
