Firefox has had a lot of updates recently:
- November 10, 2020 - security update 82.0.3
- October 28, 2020 - bug fix update 82.0.2
- October 27, 2020 - bug fix update 82.0.1
- October 20, 2020 - monthly update 82.0
If you get update prompts even after installing those updates, it can indicate a problem with your configuration or "stuck" files on your system.
