Can't log out

Hi, Probably it's an easy question, but still, it's an issue for me. I have just created a thunderbird account. Everything it's working perfect, but I can't log out. I just want when leaving office to log out and when coming back to log in. Unfortunately I can't do that. I have tried the exit button on the attached picture, but still. I will be very thankful if someone helps me.

That's not how Thunderbird and other email clients ideally work. There is no log off or sign out option. Is this a shared office PC without password-protected user accounts?

I also have this issue. I use a laptop which is not my own and has protocol preventing me from having a personal user account. So far I am adding and removing my email account from TB every time I want to access it, otherwise, if someone opened the TB app they would have access to all my emails.

Also Stans, would you care to help me with some other TB issues, for which I have had no replies to in the TB forum? I am new to using email clients.
