Hi to all! I've recently decided try using Thunderbird to manage my multiple mailboxes. I faced 2 problems: 1) When I forwarded email the attachments size in total must have been 23mb. But when i forwarded Thunderbird warned me that size is 31,5mb. What's the deal with that? 2) after ignoring and sending email anyway I received a notification that it didn't save in Sent folder.. in Fact it did. In any case the message is disturbing. 3) After sending Thunderbird left a Draft of the same mail thread.

Hope you can help me. All settings in Thunderbird are default.

The encoding of a message adds about 33% to the size, so that a message with a 24MB attachment ends up as a message that is 32MB. Gmail has a limit of 25MB, but if you upload to Drive, or any other file hosting service, the limit is much higher, and then you just need to send a link.
