On the latest update from Thunderbird - 78.4.0 (32) bit it has changed the format completely. Is it possible to go back to a previous version, the one just before? And if so to stop any more updating renewals?

Alternatively is there any chance in the future that the present layout is going to be changed once again, as to be honest I don't know if I can live with it.

I don't want to change if things can go back to the way they were.

perhaps you could offer a clue as to what change. I am not liking the black and white icons in the folder pane, but really that is about where the changes I can see ended.

Yes it was indeed the yellow icon boxes - see attached. I thought they might have done other changes that I haven't spotted yet.

Can I go back to this kind of version, and if so stop any future updates please? Or are they going to revert back, or again come out with another version?

right-click a folder and pick properties - there you can change folder colors if you wish.

Thank you. Whilst this changes the colour of the border of the icon, it does not colour the whole of the icon itself. See attached image of how it looked before. All I wish and want to do, is to get the format back to how it looked, prior to the last update, is this possible? If not to revert back to the previous version, that I liked? Finally a way to stop Thunderbird from updating?
