Hello, anyone know where I can find the previous Firefox 78.3.0 download? It is the only one that worked for me. I found a website where I could download it, but it was still the 78.3.1 version. My computer is crashing the whole time and websites do not load properly, no photos, pictures, layout etc. I have an ancient MBP on El Capitan, so need to be careful before it gives up the ghost altogether. I have the feeling these Firefox updates are more geared toward the younger computer rather than the more mature ones. I have 'refreshed' Firefox which -by the looks of it- is the same as starting up in safe mode. Though this is permanent which safe mode is not. I do not want the 'older' 77. version [on offer via the Mozilla website], nor do I want the 78.3.1 version. I want the 78.3.0 version. Anyone?

Firefox 78.3.1 is the latest Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) version available at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-esr

Older Firefox versions are available for different systems and languages from Mozilla's download server at https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ (For more information about downloading older versions of Firefox, see Install an older version of Firefox.

If you really want Firefox 78.3.0esr it is available here: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/78.3.0esr/ You will need to select your system (mac) and language (e.g. en-US) and then select the Firefox 78.3.0esr.dmg download link.

If you have submitted crash reports, please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that start with "bp-".

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

You can find the report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page.

  • click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.

Alternatively you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.

Thank you Alice Wyman for your reply. I will download the previous Firefox.

Re Cer-el's reply, it is the computer that crashes. It is Firefox that cannot show pages as they were meant to be since Firefox changed to 78.3.1, before that it worked fine. Hence me wanting to go back to 78.3.0. The crash reports are supposedly automatically sent to Firefox according to my preferences, but -as said before- Firefox 78.3.1 crashes my computer.
