Hi,

I have the "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" setting checked but it resets to unticked after a laptop restart. I've checked that the prefs file isn't read only. I've refreshed Firefox. I can;t seem to get the setting to stick. Only started happening when I got my new laptop last week. Anyone got any ideas?

It is possible that (anti-virus) security software is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
