Thunderbird update --> Missing all FOLDERS of my IMAP inbox!

Dear Thunderbird developer.

after an update of Thunderbird on my MAC I lost all the folders visibility.

I checked my work email via the web app and I can still access them but it's creating me a major delay with my work. Could you please let me know asap what I can do? Thank you. Regards, Marcello Bindi

Is the Folder Pane (under View/Layout) hidden, or is it visible but not showing any accounts or folders?

It is visible, showing all the three accounts I have configured but for some reason my work account shows only two folders out of the 30 I have. Furthermore, I tried the "Repair Folder" as mentioned in other thread, and now I cannot see even the normal inbox anymore (the tab that lists all the emails appears as completely empty)

If the account isn't showing all the folders, right-click it in the Folder Pane, Subscribe.., Refresh, and check (subscribe) the folders. But now that things are disappearing, first thing to try is see if they reappear in safe mode (hold Option when launching TB). If they reappear, launch in safe mode, check 'Reset toolbars and controls', 'Make changes and restart'.

Updating from 68 to 78, using the 68 profile, has many issues. Creating a new profile with 78, adding accounts, and transferring data from the old profile, is a better approach, despite the 'official' recommendation.

Nothing, no luck here. I am very disappointed for the way this upgrade was released. This is a major and very disrupting bug. I tried removing and re-adding the account in the 78 version but nothing..still the same problem. Of course, I lost the settings of all my filters when removing the account.
