How do I get in contact with anyone for personal support?? I have browsed the webpage abd the internet and am pannicking a bit here. I found an article regarding my problem in the support section, but it doesn't correlate with the settings available on my phone. Please help.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 and I want the feature where I can use the Google search bar widget and when I tap the links, they queue in the background in Firefox. I have this setting on my Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) but can't figure out my new phone to do the same thing. The help page that I can find says that there is an option in settings for this, but i can't find it, it is not where it's described to be.

Why can't I contact someone directly on Firefox for support? I have autism and using support forums really makes my anxiety shoot through the roof. They are great for browsing, but what do you do when the answer or solution isn't there?? I would like to have the option of contacting support instead of writing this post into the void and just hoping for someone out there to maybe have a solution. :'( It's really very stressful.

Hope someone can help me.

  1. We don't provide a personal support, sorry.
  2. The tab queue feature is not ready yet. You can follow issue #470.

Can I somehow install an older version of Firefox for Android on my Samsung Galaxy S20 (Android 10) until then? And how do I do that if possible? This version (Firefox Daylight) is the one that automatically installed when I started up the phone. Thank you for your responses and I keep my fingers crossed for a return of the tab queue/open tab in background function soon!

I am a fellow autistic. I can totally feel your frustration, this feature has been critical in my workflow. I am using another browser to complement Firefox until this problem is resolved. If you search for bubble background browser you might find an temporal fix useful for you as well.

1) download firefox 68.11.0 APK-File here: https://download.mozilla.org/?product=fennec-latest&os=android&lang=multi or here https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/68.11.0/

2) uninstall your actual firefox app

3) install the downloaded APK-file (you need to allow android to install apps from unknown sources for that)

be aware that this is an outdated version and doesn't update automatically
