The "Chosen Solution" is no solution at all. It is a copy & paste reply for all reports of this issue. The Bugzilla Bug referenced is idle, no progress has been made for months and the last tracking flag was listed for FF v76. I have used FF for Mac since v3.0 and in my experience never has such a fundamental bug been left unresolved for so long. OS Big Sur is approaching and this bug is nearly one year old.
