Toolbar Settings Keep Changing in Linux

Running TB 68.8 in Linux Mint and every so often the toolbar settings seem to go back to default. This is in the mail tab as well as Cardbook and Calendar tabs. I need to right click / customize and change them back to my preference. It has become more than just a nuisance. Any thoughts on a fix for this? Thanks.
