Thunderbird: Big problem since one week all older mails have been deleted from inbox and are gone for good! Now Thunderbird continues to delete! All old mails older than 7-8 days! I do not understand it. There is no deletion activation for the account! How can this suddenly happen as if by magic. IMAP is used and has worked for months without any problems. Itis IMAP so the server may now have some form of auto deletion / auto archiving rules. If you are using a phone it might be the phone is auto deleting mails after 7 days and that is synchronizing to Thunderbird copy of the email.
