I see 2 different prices for Private Networks: $2.99 for Firefox Private Network, $4.99 for Mozilla VPN. What's different between these 2 services, besides the price? Also, the Mozilla VPN listed Windows 10, but not earlier versions (I'm running Windows 7 Pro on my Dell Latitude Laptop with the Firefox Browser). At this time, I'm only interested in the laptop, not my phone, for the VPN and/or FPN.

FPN only provides browser-level protection through a Firefox extension/add-on.

VPN provides device-level encryption. Mozilla VPN is not available for Windows 7.

Also in the meantime, Firefox Private Network will be limited to the US. https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2020/06/09/next-steps-in-testing-our-firefox-private-network-browser-extension-beta/

The Mozilla VPN app is only for Windows 10 (64-bit), Android, and iOS. Mac and Linux clients are coming soon. https://vpn.mozilla.org/
