Hidden window

I have 3 Firefox windows open. Suddenly, one window is hidden until I click on the icon. Clicking on the icon switches the screen between the one window, and the other two windows and my mail program.

A better description: I have FF and other apps like Mail open. I can see one FF window open by itself, as if no other apps are open. It is the same size as always.

Or I can see tiled 2 FF windows and Mail, just like before.

I can get to the one FF window by itself by clicking on FF icon.

I can get to other tiled FF windows and apps by clicking on FF icon or the mail app.
