I am using Firefox 77.0 and get flashing images that seem to occur randomly. One just appeared as I am typing this. It is quite annoying and, and for anyone susceptible to strobe lighting, may be dangerous.

Operating system is Fedora 32. I have also recently installed a Microsoft wired, laser mouse but I don't think this is causing the problem.

I have Gnome Tweaks installed and have noticed that the Windows Title bar items flash at the same time.

Chosen solution

Could be caused by pop-outs in a window being immediately shutdown.

Thanks FredMcD for your input.

I did a full explanation but this got wiped off when I clicked the problem solved button. Can't be bothered to do it all again.

Are they the same images, different? same place,all over? What type of image?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
