I had a tech move contents from old computer to new one. Now my email doesn't show the headings I had like my address book under tools (all are gone), no sub files with different headings. Is there a way to restore original email page and contents?

did your tech move your Thunderbird profile. It is amazing how many folk pay to have their data moved and it is only stuff in my documents that gets moved. It is like the techs are all 15yo high school kids that know no better.
