This started only recently (a few days). I keep Firefox up to date. Recently though every time I click on a text box or a drop-down or a button I get these light blue highlighting boxes that are driving me crazy:

I've been on a search for results and used three or four different css additions that don't work (focus and outline derivatives).

There is nothing in accessibility settings (Mac 10.11.6) on my computer.

Hi wrowder, another Mac user reported the same change yesterday: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1293894

As I mentioned in a reply there, it seems to be an intentional fix because custom styled input fields were not getting the normal focus ring, and now they do.

I don't know what code will override that, but I'm sure someone will post something.

Hi, thanks for the info! I did post to reddit, we'll see what happens.

Attatched: Three instances of the boxes in question.
