Spinning beachballs every time I sign back into my Mac with Firefox that requires force quitting or restarting Mac

Almost daily after I've worked within Firefox on my 2017 iMac (IOS Mojave 10.14.6) with multiple windows open some on different pages when I go to sign in and start looking at gmail, etc I'll get spinning beachballs. I either have to force quit (hopefully that's successful) or restart from scratch. I've reported the issue to Apple ad nauseaum times. Any help would be appreciated.
