It's important to note that FIREFOX SYNC IS NOT A DATA BACKUP SERVICE. It was not designed to be a backup service, nor does it function as one. There's no always a complete or permanent copy of your data stored on the Firefox Sync servers.
Additionally, certain account actions, like resetting your password, will erase the data from Firefox Sync.
If you have successfully logged into Firefox Sync and no data has synced, you can try disconnecting from sync and logging in again. If that still doesn't work, it's unlikely that you can recover data from Firefox Sync, so you will need to find the data on another device (if possible).
Maybe the retards at Firefox would give us a warning that resetting the password wipes out our sync.
follow the steps and instruction:
- Use one of these methods to open the Bookmarks Library window: ...
- At the top of the Library window, click on Import and Backup and select Restore.
- Click the date of the bookmark backup you want to recover.
- In the new window that appears, click OK.

The fact that your Firefox Sync data is erased is listed directly on the password reset page.
It's a technical limitation. Firefox Sync encrypts your data using your password. When you change the password on the account, it no longer matches the password used to encrypt your old data, so that data becomes unrecoverable.
