Is Mozilla slowly destroying Firefox browser?

Hello all, I am confused about the state of Firefox as a browser lately, and by lately, I mean for the last year or so....

You see, I have been using Firefox for years, and always Loved it, but lately it seems to me that I am constantly being harassed about pointless security concerns from the browser now, to the point where very simple tasks will not complete. As a result, I find myself having to keep the icon for Chrome browser on my desktop to handle some of the numerous things that will not work in Firefox.

  • For one thing, almost half of the sites that I try to sign up for new accounts on get a stupid message saying my password is not secure, or it simply does not work at all.
  • Then, another large amount of websites I try to visit come back with warning pages, telling me it is unsafe to proceed, and forcing me to bypass the warning to go there.
  • Before, although not so much now, it would not allow me to open any chat sessions online, and I had ot go to a different browser in order to chat with support for websites.

My concern is that, whoever is handling Firefox as of late, has lost the ability to maintain a useful, simplistic browser model anymore, and that with every new update, less and less functions actually work. This is not truly a question, so much as a somewhat angered rant about a browser that I USED to love, and am now seriously considering switching away from. Has anyone else noticed that Firefox browser has become more and more frustrating to use, or is it just me??
