How to configure Thunderbird to use (send) from more than one Gmail account?
I have several email accounts. While I can retrieve email from different Gmail accounts, I can only send from one. I pulled my hair out trying to figure out what, if anything I was doing wrong. But it seems like I wasn't. I can't seem to use more than one outgoing SMTP (smtp.gmail.com) server even though the other smtp servers are listed for the other gmail accounts.
Is there a workaround? I am using Thunderbird 68.8.1 (latest at the time of writing) on Windows. Thanks

However, if I remember correctly. When I set up my existing gmail accounts through Thunderbird, I am automatically redirected to Google's site for authentication. The problem with this seems to be when using Chrome as your default browser or being signed into another Google account.
In my case just now, Thunderbird prompted me if I wanted to have it remember my Gmail password. I have no choice to say no and manually enter each time or Thunderbird gets confused and uses another Gmail password. This is from past experience. Perhaps this issue is resolved now?
And where are my saved passwords hiding in Thunderbird?
Tools/Options/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, remove any passwords or oauth tokens, and before restarting TB, check that the authentication method for gmail incoming and outgoing servers is OAuth2. Upon restart, enter the account password in the OAuth browser window, and a token will be stored in Saved Passwords. OAuth2 requires cookies be enabled in TB Options/Privacy.
Thanks. It seems Mozilla likes to over complicate things. I don't have this problem with third party email desk top clients.
