more options

Out of the blue now when I check my passwords to sign in I have to input a password that I have never created and am unable to change review or find in my computer. The ghost in the machine strikes again. Let me decide what level of security I wish to maintain, it shows your ignorance when you big brother on one hand and promote your privacy.

The Firefox Lockwise system uses your Windows 10 account password if you do not have a Master Password set in Firefox. This is typically the password that you use to sign into Windows, although some users may not have to sign in when they turn on their computer.

See the Change or reset your Windows password page on the Microsoft support website for more information.

Hope this helps.
