Can I use fingerprint scanner to enter passwords in Firefox on a Mac, just like Safari?

Firefox allows me to just click and enter passwords, but I like the additional layer of security that Safari offers: that I have to input my device password or scan my fingerprint in order to enter the password into the field.

Does Firefox do this? (Now that I'm asking, how about the new Edge, too?)
