Downloaded PDF's don't always contain .PDF file extension and aren't able to be opened without manually adding extension. This isn't always the case, but is consistent with various different websites - e.g., downloading a w9 form from IRS website works fine, but downloading my bank statements or insurance bill leaves me with a generic (no extension file) in my downloads directory.
