I am doing some video conferences online. I have 2 webcams. Sometimes I have to switch from 1 webcam to another. However, Firefox only lets me use one webcam. Does anybody know how to switch from one to another?

Looking around, it seems like firefox uses the default webcam set in windows preferences, and there isn't a way to switch it on the fly, unfortunately. It would definitely be more ideal if you could just click a dropdown and select a different webcam....

I think that if you revoke the current permission via the padlock drop-down list that you should get a new request for allow the webcam and be able to select a different device, possibly after reloading the page.

I also wish to use an external webcam in Firefox for meetings online.

I am trying to use an Elgato Capture HD60S+ as a webcam on https://blackboard.umbc.edu, but when turning on video Firefox only prompts for the integrated webcam, the drop down arrow does not show any other options.

Revoking permissions did not work.

When I look in the Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers, when I right-click on the Capture HD60S+ the option to set a default webcam is not listed; nor is there an option to set a default camera when using Device Manager -> Cameras.

However, in Chrome I am able to use the Capture HD60S+ as a webcam.

Any light that can be shed on this problem would be helpful.
