Can't send emails.
I am switching to Thunderbird from Incredimail and when I tried to set up my account, it kept saying that it failed. I did it manually and I got my account set up. I can receive emails, but I can not send emails. It shows mail.newwavecomm.net, connecting, then it says that it timed out. And doesn't send. I have no idea why and how to go about figuring this out. Also I do not see the Write option either. Can you please help me fix this?
Thank You Melanie

What do you have for the outgoing server in Tools/Account Settings, Outgoing Server (SMTP) at the bottom of the left pane? According to their documentation, it should be:
mail.newwavecomm.net on port 25, security = none, authentication = password, transmitted insecurely, User Name = part of your address before @.
