Recent Firefox updates made it forget to restore tabs and login info (user id)

Firefox has been reliable for decades. The lates and recent updates (past 2-3 months) made it very forgetful. 1. Does not restore tabs (options is properly set, of course). 2. Keep losing login info (userid) such as my bank account, gmail, etc. Please fix it properly.
