On iPhone why is Firefox not presented to open with?

more options

On my iPhone when going to a site, it first asks me which browser to open with and the only two options are Safari or Chrome. Why isn’t Firefox on that list to open with or how do I place it on that list to open with?

You are totally right. I am also missing this option. I guess Google pays a lot of money to be included by default. I am not sure.

As a workaround you can choose Share... > Open site in Firefox. I do recommend to open a feature request. Simply send your comment via email to ios-feedback@mozilla.com or go to Firefox > Settings > Send feedback. Even better open a feature request on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org
