Saved passwords are missing and logins.json file has .corrupt at the end of it. Is there any way to fix this?

more options

Having two problems that might be related or might not. First of all, all the saved email logins are still there and still autofill in, but the passwords don't show up in the autofill anymore. Also, am seeing something called firefox lockwise for the first time and seeing 0 saved passwords, where it used to be this (https://img.raymond.cc/images/show-firefox-saved-password.png). Looking in firefox in app data/roaming folder I found the logins.json file but it has .corrupt at the end of it and it just says corrupt file under the file type. Any info/possibilities on how to fix these issues

Chosen solution

1.Open the Firefox web browser. 2.Type about:support on address bar and Enter. 3.Click on the "open folder" (this opens the profile folder) Windows > Open Folder Linux > Open Directory 4.Close Firefox. 5. In profile folder, Check if you see a file called logins.json.corrupt. 6.If you do, rename the file to logins.json to fix it. 7.Start Firefox. The passwords should be available again.

The fix is a temporary one as the logins file will corrupt again when you restart the system.

Thanks, that fixed the issue. However, since that's temporary solution, is there anything I can do to replace the corrupt login.json file?
