Extreme stuttering when watching 1080p and 900p streams on twitch and mixer

I can watch streams on 720p and below just fine, but 900 and 1080p is literally unwatchable. Often times, the video will freeze, but the audio will continue running. I'm certain that this is a browser issue as I had no problems of the sort on chrome.

My internet connection should also be perfectly capable and at the time of writing, I'm already running the latest version of firefox (73.0).
