Do you have Firefox for Android set to clear your browsing history when you close it?

No, I have the option to clear private data on exit disabled. What seems odd is that after restarting Firefox, all accounts are logged in again without any other action.

Firefox is at version 68.5.0, and Android is version 10 running on a Galaxy Note 9. I have tried manually clearing the cache and private data just to rule it out, but the behavior remains the same (after signing into everything once again the old fashioned way).

Does this same issue occur with Firefox Preview (our new browser available from the Google Play Store)?

After a day of testing, Firefox Preview does not seem to have this problem. c: I had actually not known about this version of the browser, so thank you for pointing it out! If this is meant to eventually replace the original Firefox, I can sit tight and wait for the update to roll out.

That is the plan, but please feel free to use it from now. We are still giving it a bit of extra polish and will be adding more features over time, but I have been using an early test version for about a year as my main mobile browser and really like it.

So far it does seem nice! A few quirks here and there (mostly just getting the "closed tab" bar stuck when browsing in a hurry), but I think I'll be switching to the Preview version and looking forward to seeing it grow. Thanks again for your help! ^_^

I am having the same problem. Firefox Browser is currently on version 68.8.0 and I am using it in Android 8.1.0. It doesn't happen very often. It happens after some days like two weeks or so.

Does anyone have updates about this issue?
