Firefox has stopped working immediately upon attempted launch. Reinstall does not work. Shift does not work. firefox -P does not work. Change: HW acc turned on.
Firefox was working ,but no 3-D. Turned on 3-D. Attempted to restart firefox. Now attempting to start firefox and it immediate says "Firefox has stopped working". Running firefox -P does the same. Re-install does the same. Exception Code: c0000005

Today, mysteriously, firefox is working again. I have not rebooted the system, logged out, made any system changes, changed any firefox config parameters, or installed or removed any software since my previous posting. Nevertheless, today I can start it up, open multiple tabs and windows, and all the usual stuff.
More data. The regular Firefox install is working. The previous Nightly version continued to fail. Just now I installed the current Nightly version. It also fails to start, with the same symptoms as before.
