SYNC not working amongst Desktop, laptop and mobile - WHY???

Posted

I just want to sync my bookmarks between desktop, laptop and mobile devices . However, sync used to work, then stopped, then one time it worked again, not it stopped.. What is going on? This is a real pain. I am going to switch to Chrome. I can not follow some long procedure looking at code and settings etc. This should just work. YES, my settings are correct, and I am logged in etc.

Provide a "paste" of your Sync error report here, select 1 week for expiration - https://pastebin.com/ - and provide the resultant URL (after submitting the "paste" text) in the Post a Reply box here so someone here can review your error logs.

On Desktop / Laptop devices type about:sync-log in the URL bat and hit Enter. Then open the newest error-sync-........txt log in Firefox by clicking on it. Then Copy the entire log.

That feature isn't available on "mobile" Firefox versions; Firefox for Android and for iOS.
