can I delete the x86 version of Firefox or does it serve some function?
W7 home premium 64Bit has both of the following in my program folder Firefox 43.0.4 (x86) & Firefox (x64)
Chosen solution
Yes, you should be able to uninstall the x86 version. The 64-bit version of the browser does not depend on the other one.
Of course, make sure that you haven't been using the x86 version before uninstalling! You wouldn't want to loose your data.
Edit: The x86 version is very old. It is very unlikely that you have been using this.
Have a nice day!
