The 'chosen solution' ("Blur>Settings>Tracker blocking: ON -> OFF", which does work) and closure of the thread does not mention the potentially serious consequences of just turning off the Blur protection. In particular, whether the latest Firefox (72.0.1 (64-bit) of January 8, 2020), with its 'enhanced built-in security' provides any of that protection without preventing the video play. I don't know how to find that info hidden in Firefox, and Blur is not clear either.

Hi dubious, Extensions don't over-ride Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP). Whether or not ETP will block the playback of a video which was blocked by an extension would depend on the level of protection which is set, i.e. Standard, Strict or Custom.
