Netflix no longer works in my Firefox browser on my desktop. The screen hangs up and I have to restart my machine.

I don't have video problems with anything else. YouTube, Amazon streaming, Vimeo all work fine. But when I go to Netflix and try to view something, the browser hangs and I can't close the browser or do anything else AT ALL on my computer. I have to do a hard shut-off, which I hate. So far, when I turn the machine back on, everything works fine. Except Firefox and Netflix. I'm assuming this has something to do with privacy settings, but I wanted to know if this is a problem others are experiencing and if there is a simple fix. I don't want to touch the Registry! Thanks for any help!
