Spam messages in Facebook account!

Posted

Hello! I've noticed that for a while now, spam messages are being sent to my friend list from my Facebook account. I don't know if I did anything wrong while browsing but I've tried clearing the cache, the cookies and the history several times to no avail. Is there something I can do through Firefox to stop this? Thank you in advance!

Firefox is an internet browser. Facebook is a website. Firefox doesn't control what websites (in this case, Facebook) tell it to load.

The problem you are having on Facebook is not related to Firefox and there's nothing that you can do on Firefox.

Speaking from my experience and knowledge on this type of issue, you are probably getting a large amount of fake friend requests because the privacy level of your Facebook profile is set too public. You may want to consider making your account private or restricting who can send you friend requests.

If none of that helps or you are looking for further clarification and support, Facebook has their own support website where you can browse help articles and ask community questions.

Hope this helps.
