How can I tell if an email regarding computer breaches is actually from Mozilla?

Posted

This morning I discovered an email (allegedly from Mozilla) encouraging me to sign up for notifications of computer breaches; but I am afraid to open it. How can I tell if it is actually from Mozilla?

Hello charlesclemens2017,

From which email address you received it? Also provide us the link with that email navigating (but don't open it, just copy and paste it here). So we can help you with that.

In the meantime, you can check this article for your knowledge.

How to Identify Fake Emails

How do I know these emails are really from Firefox and not from a hacker? - Go to this link and find the topic 'How do I know these emails are really from Firefox and not from a hacker?' (If this anchor link not working)

Thank you!
