compatablility issues with Kellogs.com

i have been having a problem with gaining access to Kelloggs.com. I just got off the phone with Kelloggs and they said that the issue is with your browser. Frankly I don't use any other browsers because of their security flaws. Kelloggs has been added to my allow files and still I can't gain access.

 Would someone call Kelloggs and help them fix the issue. 1-800-962-1413, they are available from 9 AM - 6 PM EST.

They want me to install and use another browser, that is their solution. Since this issue has been going on for months I frankly don't think they want to fix the issue.

I get to the page however when I try to sign in I get that annoying circle that goes around and around. Kelloggs claims it is because of how Firefox protects its users.

 I'm not sure, however the issue remains that starting back in late July to early August I have been unable to use my password information and now that I have changed my password I'm still unable to sign in to my account.

Try disabling tracking protection on kelloggs.com ( by clicking the shield on the left side of the URL bar and unchecking the "tracking" option) and see if logging in works then. We can narrow it down to see if it is definitely Firefox's security features preventing login.

I did as asked and I still get a circle after entering my info.

The grey box were it says continue just has the circle going around and around and nothing moves forward even after removing the enhanced security

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button New Fx Menu , click Help Help-29 and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
  • On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
