Playing 1080p 60 fps video on YouTube is choppy again after the update to version 70.0.1

Please refer to my previous question https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1268819. The problem appeared after I had updated to version 68 from version 62.0.2. It was fixed back then by setting media.media-capabilities.enabled = false in about:config. After updating to version 70.0.1, it is back and is now worse than before. I have tried tweaking other settings in about:config as well but none seems to solve the problem. Can someone kindly help me in this regard? I had to ask this question separately as I did not get any more replies to my update in the original question. Again, please note that only 1080p 60 fps throws up this problem, and not any other quality option (60 fps or otherwise). Moreover, other browsers work fine with all quality options. Only Firefox version 68 and later show this problem. Thanks and regards!
